The Tozeur Local Health Directorate took delivery on Wednesday of a mobile equipped COVID-19 vaccination unit, under a partnership between the Tozeur municipality and the German municipality of Geestland.

The unit will help boost the jab drive in the governorate, local health director Nabih Thabet said.

53.9% of the Tozeur inhabitants had been vaccinated, Thabet specified, adding that jab campaigns for students aged over 15 will be organised in schools as of October 8.
