Trial of Bardo terrorist attack postponed

The verdict deliberation of the Bardo terrorist attack case is postponed to a future hearing. The Correctional Chamber specialising in terrorist cases at the Tunis First Instance Court decided on Tuesday to refer the case for deliberation and to examine the requests for release made by the lawyers of the accused.

Twenty-two suspects in the case of the terrorist attack of the Bardo Museum appeared Tuesday before the investigating judge in charge of the case.

The terrorist attack of March 18, 2015, against the Bardo Museum in Tunis, killed 21 people – 20 foreign tourists of different nationalities and a Tunisian policeman. The perpetrators of the attack were killed.
