The Tunis Court of First Instance rejected at a summary hearing on Tuesday the request for suspension of the national congress of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) filed by trade unionists, said UGTT Deputy Secretary-General Sami Tahri.

Tahri refrained from commenting on the court’s ruling.
