Tunisia and Egypt working on mobility programme for teachers and students in both countries

Tunisia and Egypt stressed the need to develop a mobility programme for teachers and students in all university majors, during a meeting between Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Moncef Boukthir and his Egyptian counterpart Aymen Achour. During the meeting, which was held on the occasion of the works of the 55th session of the Conference of Arab Universities which started on March 18 at the Medical School of Sousse, the two officials stressed the need to encourage the exchange of expertise and data on the quality of academic education and the classification of higher education, scientific research and intellectual property facilities. They agreed to boost cooperation in the field of scientific research by implementing joint projects within the framework of calls for tenders and the consolidation of partnership between research centres in both countries. The two parties stressed the close bilateral relations in the fields of higher education and scientific research, expressing readiness to promote cooperation and partnership programmes.
