During the opening of the 1st edition of the Arab Tourism Media Forum, organised on Monday in partnership with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), under the theme ‘Role of the media in the development of inter-Arab tourism,’ Tunisia was awarded the Ibn Batouta prize from the Arab Organisation of Tourism. On the occasion of Arab Tourism Day, the Arab Tourism Organisation awards the Ibn Batouta Prize each year to Arab personalities who have contributed to developing the tourism sector. Tunisian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts Mohamed Moez Belhassine received this award on behalf of Tunisia.
