Tunisia bagged 9 medals (6 gold and 3 silver) at the Dubai International Olive oil Competition “Dubaiooc 2021,” organised June 22-25 in Dubai, announces on Friday the Technical Centre for Packaging and Conditioning (PACKTEC).

Hence, the Tunisian olive oils which won gold medals are “Domaine Adonis” (two medals), “Dear Olive” (two medals), “Ziane” (one medal) and “Triomphe thuccabor” (one medal).

The three silver medals went to “Kordoba,” “Baya Olive Oil” and “Chobrane.”

Over 400 olive oil brands from 23 countries took part in this international competition, held twice a year.

The packaged olive oil exports have increased by 34% in terms of quantity over the past five years, said National Olive Oil Board (ONH) Commercial Director Moez Ben Amor.
