(TAP) – Tunisia’s handball team were crowned champions of the four-nation tournament, played in Poland from December 28 to 30, after defeating South Korea at a day-3 game played on Friday.

Tunisia had defeated Poland on day-1 and Brazil on day-2.

The tournament is part of the warm-up for the Handball World Cup (next January 11-19), co-hosted by Poland and Sweden.

In the first round of the World Cup, Tunisia featured Group H, alongside Denmark, Belgium and Bahrain.
