Tunisia-Egypt: 12 agreements and MOUs signed in various areas of cooperation

Egyptian Prime Minister Mustapha Madbouli, and Prime Minister Najla Bouden, presided Friday at the Government Palace in Kasbah, a signing ceremony of 12 agreements and memoranda of understanding in various areas of cooperation between Tunisia and Egypt, at the end of the work of the 17th edition of the Tunisian-Egyptian High Joint Commission.

The framework agreement of cooperation covers the field of higher education and scientific research between the two countries, while the memoranda of understanding are focused on several areas of activity, namely:

– A memorandum of understanding between the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) of Tunisia and the General Investment Authority of Egypt.

– A memorandum of understanding on agricultural cooperation

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of construction

– A memorandum of understanding in the sector of information technology, telecommunications and post

– A memorandum of understanding between the Financial Market Council (Tunisia) and the General Authority for Financial Control (Egypt)

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of exchange of expertise in international cooperation

– A memorandum of understanding for technical and scientific cooperation in the field of meteorology and climate

– A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of promotion of women, family, children, and the elderly

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of participation in international fairs and markets

– A memorandum of understanding between the Tunisian and Egyptian governments for cooperation in the field of export development

– Minutes of the 17th edition of the Tunisian-Egyptian High Joint Commission
