Tunisia Export Team to start activity in H2 of 2023

(TAP)- Tunisia Export Team taskforce will start its activity in H2 of 2023, Director General of economic and trade cooperation at the Trade and Export Development Ministry Lazhar Bennour said Friday in Tunis.

Tunisia Export Team, made up of representatives of public and private agencies and differnt export actors, aims to pool efforts so as to ensure the successful holding of Tunisian promotion events abroad, Bennour said at an export event held by CEPEX.

This working team will embark on a first pilot experience that will target fairs in Libya, as this market remains “strategic” for Tunisia. The experience will be rolled out as of next year, he added.

Bennour said different players will be invited to sign a charter commiting them to ensure the success of all events organised by public or private agencies.

Announced last January by the Trade Ministry, Tunisia Export Team comprises representatives of different agencies, including CEPEX, the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (French: UTICA), the Tunisian Confederation of Citizen Enterprises (French: CONECT) and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (French: FIPA).
