The French Group “Vernicolor”, leader in the manufacture of plastic parts for the interior, painted or chromed, for car manufacturers, has launched a new production site in the Industrial Park of El Fejja in Manouba (Greater Tunis).

This new production unit, made with an investment of 9.5 million euros (30.4 million dinars), was inaugurated by CEO of French Group, François Champier, in the presence of several customers, suppliers and employees of the Group and representatives of the Government and the Tunisian administration, said the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency “FIPA-Tunisia”.

The plant, which covers 2 hectares, including 10 thousand m2 covered, currently employs 350 peopl, and will generate in the medium term up to 800 jobs.

The Vernicolor group is present in Tunisia since 2008. It is specialised in the development, the realisation and the assembly of painted decorated plastic sub-assemblies and also has know-how in any type of decoration, such as pad printing, hot stamping, laser scraping…

“Vernicolor Tunisia” is today in strong progression of activity and bets on favourable prospects and long-term growth, according to the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA).
