Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar and his French counterpart, Catherine Colonna agreed, during a telephone conversation, to schedule a meeting as soon as possible and to organise, in 2023, the fourth session of the High Cooperation Council (HCC) in Paris. The information was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement issued on Friday. Ammar expressed Tunisia’s readiness to engage in a constructive and responsible dialogue with all its partners, including France. Tunisia is counting on its partners’ understanding of the specificity of the period our country is going through, which has embarked on an irreversible process of setting up a diverse democracy and a fair and inclusive development model that meets the aspirations of the people, given the experience of the past decade,” he said. For her part, Colonna expressed her country’s readiness to further strengthen cooperation with Tunisia and to stand by its side to meet the economic challenges it faces.
