Tunisia-Guinea: Common will to strengthen cooperation

Minister of National Defence Farhat Horchani stressed the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and Guinea in the fields of training, intelligence, counter-terrorism and exchange of expertise, especially as the two countries face common security challenges.

Receiving ambassador of the Republic of Guinea in Tunis with residence in Algiers, Ousmane Diao Balde, on Tuesday, the minister said that Tunisia attaches great importance to its African environment in view of investment opportunities offered.

For his part, the Guinea’s diplomat said that his country is working to strengthen cooperation with Tunisia in the fields of transport, trade, higher education and health, reaffirming his country’s will to establish a bilateral military cooperation.
