Tunisia: IMF Delegation Expected February 18 in Tunis

Tunis – A delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected, February 18 in Tunisia, to devise a cooperation programme between Tunisia and the Fund for the 2016-2020 period, Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) Chedly Ayari said at the end of a meeting with Prime Minister Habib Essid on Saturday.

Ayari discussed with Essid the short- and mid-term economic situation, preparations for the IMF experts’ visit and Tunisia’s relations with economic and financial institutions and donors committed to supporting the Tunisian economy, according to a Prime Ministry press release.
