The Tunisia-India-China parliamentary friendship group held its meeting at the House of People’s Representatives (ARP) on Wednesday, under chairmanship of MP Hafedh Zouari (National Reform).
Participants in the meeting reiterated the “major” role of legislation in attracting investment and boosting parliamentary cooperation, the Parliament said in a statement.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad called for overcoming the obstacles hindering the development of Tunisia-India-China relations, to serve Tunisia’s interests
During the meeting, emphasis was put on the need to identify the working mechanisms allowing to define the major issues to be followed at this exceptional stage, particularly parliamentary diplomacy, sharing expertise, infrastructure, trade, credits granted to Africa and others.
