Tunisia participates in International Conference on Justice in Riyadh

Minister of Justice, Leila Jaffel, said the services provided to the public can have the desired quality only through the digitalisation of the judicial system, based in particular on new technologies.

These technologies offer a better management of time and finances, in addition to the gain of efforts and upholding transparency, she added.

During her participation in the International Conference on Justice held in Riyadh on March 5 and 6 on the theme of «Facilitating Access to Justice Through Digital Innovation,» the Minister stressed the need to overcome certain difficulties through work and perseverance in order to achieve the digital transition in the Tunisian justice system.

Some digital justice projects have been completed, such as remote trials, access to remote case monitoring and the implementation of the new electronic system, she pointed out.

The International Conference on Justice was attended by Arab Ministers of Justice and nearly four thousand participants, including judges, lawyers, opinion leaders and legal experts from around the world.
