Tunisia ranks 99th in 2017 ICT Development Index

Tunisia dropped from the 95th place to the 99th in the 2017 ICT Development Index inspite of the improvement of its IDI from 4.7 to 4.82, according to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)’s annual report announced on Wednesday during works of the 15th World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators Symposium (WTIS 2017), November 14-16 in Hammamet.

However, Tunisia keeps 1st place in North Africa.

Iceland ranks 1st and Morocco 100th, followed by Algeria and Egypt ranking 102nd and 103rd, respectively, inspite of the improvement of their IDI.
