Tunisia receives 20 tonnes of oxygen from Kuwait

(TAP) – A Kuwaiti plane loaded with 20 tonnes of oxygen and 400 oxygen cylinders, landed on Tuesday in Tunis through an air bridge set up by Kuwait to support Tunisia’s efforts to stem the spread of COVID-19.

In a Presidency of the Republic press release, Tunisia voiced gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its ongoing support of Tunisia during these difficult times.

The medical equipment was received by the minister of foreign affairs, migration and Tunisians abroad, minister of health, director general of military health, chief advisor to the president of the republic in charge of national security and Kuwait’s ambassador in Tunis.
