Tunisia takes part in 21st edition of “BATIMATEC 2018”

24 Tunisian enterprises are taking part in the 21st edition of the international exhibition of building, building materials and public works BATIMATEC, organised on April 22-26 in Algiers, said the Exports Promotion Centre (CEPEX).

“With 1,000 exhibitors from 25 countries and 20,000 visitors expected, BATIMATEC confirms its position as the leading event on the continental level and is thus the largest professional gathering that offers a broad overview of the latest developments in the construction secto,” according to a CEPEX press release.

Becoming a tradition, the Tunisian participation in this event aims to foster partnership and business relations with Algeria by exploring new avenues of collaboration in the building sector in line with the new orientations of the Algerian economy.

The Tunisian pavilion occupied an area of 300 m� and aroused the interest of a large number of Algerian trade visitors who appreciated the diversity and quality of Tunisian products on display: Waterproofing and insulation products, wood and wooden structures, PVC joinery, sanitary ware, electrical equipment and lighting, technical solutions for the electricity and renewable energy sector, multilayer piping, metal construction, solar water heaters, weighing equipment, etc.
