Tunisian Abdelhamid Bouchneq’s “Le Bonbon” at 21st LA Shorts Fest

The Tunisian cinema will be featured for the first time in the “LA Shorts International Film Festival” (LA Shorts Fest), with the participation of Tunisian Abdelhamid Bouchneq’s short film Le Bonbon (Candy) at the 21st edition of this festival.

The festival started on Wednesday and will run till August 10.

This 21st edition will feature 280 films from 25 countries including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Ireland, Greece, South Korea, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Tunisia

Chosen in the official short films competition, Le Bonbon will be screened on August 4, Bouchneq, who is attending this event held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, told TAP.

This festival attracts more than 800 professionals in the filmmaking and cinematic art fields from around the world.
