Tunisian-Sudanese Business Council to hold meeting in Tunis in May 2018

The Tunisian-Sudanese Business Council will hold its next meeting in Tunis in May 2018, announced the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA).

The employers’ organisation added in a statement that a delegation of Tunisian businessmen went to Khartoum from January 20 to 25, 2018 to take part in the Council’s meeting on January 22, 2018 that ended its work by drawing up the action programme for the years 2018 and 2019.

The delegation took part in the second Tunisian-Sudanese forum held on January 24 in Khartoum under the slogan “Broad Perspectives for Tunisian-Sudanese Partnership”, in the presence of officials from both sides.

At the end of its work, the council called on air transport authorities in Tunisia and Khartoum to activate the opening of the direct flight between the two destinations, knowing that a commercial contract was initialed in the fields of health, building, disposable sanitary products, pharmaceutical industries and water prospecting.

The delegation that included several Tunisian businessmen participated in the international fair in Khartoum held from January 22 to 29.
