The Club Sportif de Sakiet Ezzit joined Esperance Sportive de Tunis in the final of Tunisia’s handball Cup 2021, after defeating EBS Beni Khiar (31-28) at the semi-finals on Saturday afternoon.

It took until the end of extra time to see the defending champions win, after full time ended in 25-25.

The final, scheduled for November 12, will be a remake of the two previous editions (2019-2020), at the end of which the CS Sakiet Ezzit were offered their two Cup titles at the expense of Esperance.

Esperance Sportive de Tunis had secured their qualification after beating, the day before, Club Africain 36-29 at the first semi-final played in Gorjani, Tunis.
