Tunisia’s Movement for All to participate in municipal elections with indepdendent lists (statement)

Tunisia’s Movement for All intends to participate in the municipal elections scheduled for next December with independent lists, announced Friday party President Mouldi Aouichaoui

In a statement to the media on the sidelines of a press conference held in Tunis, Aouichaoui explained that the party does not intend to make alliances with other parties in the municipal elections.

According to him, the party will work during the next period to set up the party’s structures and to form the political bureau and regional offices in all the governorates. It will then announce the names of the national figures who will join it.

The goal of creating this liberal party, he specified, is to form a new “youth class” that participates in political action and works to promote the country’s situation, expressing support to the Chahed government as long as it is engaged in fight against corruption and involvement of youths in decision-making.

The party was founded on March 2nd, 2017 and became official on June 10, 2017.
