Bawjiase: Two brothers suspected to be ritualists are in critical condition and receiving treatment at Bawjiase Polyclinic under police guard after they were caught with the body of a 10-year-old boy on a motorcycle. The suspects identified as Fofo Agboyemeh and Kwame Agboyemeh, allegedly exhumed the body of Master James Ajoyemeh at a cemetery in Adewukwa near Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.

According to Ghana News Agency, they were intercepted by some ‘Okada’ motor riders at Ashalaja around 10:00 hrs on Tuesday upon a tip-off, leading to their arrest by an irate mob who severely assaulted them. But for the intervention of the Denkyira police, the two would have been lynched.

A source told the GNA that the suspects exhumed the body three days after it was buried.
