Two died of the coronavirus in Ben Arous governorate, taking the death toll to 1,188, local director of preventive health Fethi Beltaief told TAP on Friday.
Another 32 cases have been detected, out of 178 tests carried out, or an 18% positivity rate.
The region has therefore seen 49,052 cases so far, including 340 active. Of these, 5 patients are admitted to El Yasminet hospital.
