The Monastir coast guard units Monday evening foiled two irregular migration attempts from the Monastir coasts to Italy, said Secretary General of the Coast Guard Union Otthman Besbes.

Three organisers of irregular migration operations were also arrested, the same source specified.

A boat, an engine, a car and a sum of 10 thousand dinars were seized by the security services, he added.
