The Local Health Directorate in Tataouine Monday reported 2 more fatalities of the COVID-19 during the last 48 hours and 118 new infections.

This takes the overall number of deaths in the region to 273 and that of infections to 5,596.

There are currently 18 coronavirus patients admitted to different hospitals in the governorate.

The local committee for disaster control has decreed a targeted lockdown in the delegations of North Tataouine, South Tataouine, Smar and Bir Lahmar until July 11, 2021.
