Two sub-Saharan nationals arrested in Ariana over falsification of travel documents (Interior Ministry)

Two sub-Saharan nationals (a man and a woman) suspected of falsifying travel documents to help persons to illegally travel abroad, were arrested in Ariana, the Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday.

Passports and residency permits for foreign nationals were seized following a search in their residence, the ministry added in a press release.

The national security units in Ariana also seized a computer, mobile phones and a digital tablet containing photocopies of the first pages of passports.

A legal action was initiated against these two individuals for falsification of official documents and forgery, the same source added.
