Secretary General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Noureddine Tabboubi, Saturday, spoke of positive signs showing the possibility of overcoming Tunisia’s socio-economic crisis, UGTT said in a statement Saturday.

At the closing ceremony of the Conference of the General Union of Petroleum and Chemicals, Taboubi pointed out that the lack of respect for State institutions and the current political crisis led to a general climate of tension in the country.

He warned against the threats facing the country, calling on trade unionists to support the State and defend its interests.

My meeting with the President of the Republic on Friday was «very positive», he said.
