(TAP) – The National Union of Tunisian Women (UNFT) will publish during the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (November 25-December 10), a booklet on the different forms of violence against women executives, said UNFT President Radhia Jerbi.
During these 16 days of activism, the UNFT will organise awarness-raising campaigns to present the studies and researches conducted ig 2022 on the various forms of violence against women, notably at the economic level, she told TAP at the end of the 4th Francophone Conference on Musculoskeletal Disorders, organised on November 8-10 in Monastir.
“In recent years, violence has spread to all walks of life, affecting women executives who have become victims of discrimination and inequality in addition to forms of precarious employment and murders,” she said, pointing out that the fight against this phenomenon requires urgent solutions.
Law No.58 of 2017 on the elimination of all forms of violence against women protects women’s rights except that it has not yet been implemented in the lack of application texts, the UNFT President considered.
