(TAP) – The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries (UTAP), on Saturday, called to accelerate the process of forming a new government that will be able to meet the current challenges.
In a statement issued at the end of a periodic central council meeting chaired by UTAP President Abdelmajid Zar, the union expressed its absolute solidarity with the Tunisian people and their legitimate demands.
The UTAP council voiced hope that «the 25 July movement will represent a positive turning point for the country,» stressing the need to resolve, in priority, the socio-economic and health issues and breaking with all forms of marginalisation and exclusion.
The meeting saw the participation of more than 85% of UTAP members, who discussed the general situation in the country and the problems faced by the different production sectors.
