He assured the gathering of traditional leaders and local residents that his administration would continue to prioritize inclusive social interventions if elected president. Dr. Bawumia, who has served as Vice President for eight years, outlined his vision of governance that embraces all citizens, including marginalized groups such as the disabled, women, and youth. He noted the positive impact of existing government policies, stating that the Free SHS initiative has benefitted nearly six million young people. He also highlighted other sectors, such as health and infrastructure, where inclusivity has been a guiding principle. During the event, Dr. Bawumia announced plans to implement a credit scoring system in Ghana, facilitated by recent advancements in national identification and digital infrastructure. This development aims to transition the country into a digitized, credit-based economy. The Vice President also expressed his intention to equip one million youth with digital skills and promote indigenous industries through a Buy Ghana First policy. In addition to his policy proposals, Dr. Bawumia inaugurated a 15 million cedis ultramodern office complex for the Ho Municipal Assembly, underscoring the NPP's developmental achievements. He later addressed a rally at a community school park, where he continued to share his vision with enthusiastic supporters. As part of his campaign tour, Dr. Bawumia plans to visit major industries and engage with constituents across the Volta Region, showcasing his agenda for renewable energy, agricultural expansion, and economic empowerment.
