Accra: Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has expressed sadness over the demise of the former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings. In a statement, the Vice President described Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings as a true icon who would be remembered for her service to Ghana. She extended her deepest condolences to her children and family, wishing her a peaceful rest.

According to Ghana News Agency, the family confirmed the sad news of the former First Lady's demise, explaining that she passed away in the early hours of Thursday, October 23, 2025.
