Esperance Sportive of Tunis secured their second straight win at the Arab Volleyball Club Championship, after defeating Kuwait’s Kadhima 3-0 (25-11, 25-23, 25-17),at a Group A day-2 game played on Sunday in Rades.
Esperance ST had secured a win over Algeria’s OMK El Milia 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-13).
They will play Libya’s Swehly at day 3 next Thursday.
The other Tunisian representative in the competition, AS Marsa have virtually qualified for the quarter-finals of the same competition after beating Palestine’s Senjel (25-9, 25-14, 25-14), at a Group C day-2 game Saturday in Rades.
This is the second win of AS Marsa during this tournament after they defeated Yemen’s Khaybal (3-1) at day 1 last Friday.
