Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur, winner of the Birmingham Classic last Sunday, made her debut at the Eastbourne International (UK), defeating Russia’s Markéta Vondroušová (40th) 6-3, 7-6, at the first round on Tuesday.
World’s 24th Jabeur will face Latvian Jeļena Ostapenko (43rd) in the second round on Wednesday.
