Young girl kept in custody for belonging to a terrorist organisation

A patrol from the National Guard’s anti-terrorist prevention department in Ben Arous, on Friday, arrested a young girl from the region who was wanted by the security services and the judiciary for belonging to a terrorist organisation and sentenced to four years in prison. A spokesperson for the General Directorate of the National Guard said in a statement Saturday the girl was brought before the investigation unit of the National Guard in Ben Arous, on order of prosecutor to take the necessary measures against her. He added that a joint patrol by the Remada investigation unit and the anti-terrorist unit of the National Guard in Tataouine on Friday night arrested a person from the region, accused of belonging to a terrorist organisation and sentenced to four years in prison.
