The Confederation of African Football has appointed a trio of Tunisian referees to officiate the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON- Côte d'Ivoire 2024) Group G final day qualifier between Mali and South Sudan in Bamako on September 8.
Mehrez Melki will be head referee and he will be assisted by Mohamed Bakiir and Aymen Ismail. The fourth referee is another Tunisian, Amir Loucif.
Mali, who top Group G with 12 points, have already qualified for the AFCON, along with Gambia, who are second on 11 points. Congo are third on 6 points, while South Sudan are third on 3 points.
