Coordinator of the Independent Regional Authority for Elections (IRIE) in Kairouan, Bassam Halawa, said 138 agents have been mobilised to ensure the updating of the electoral register in all the electoral districts of the Kairouan governorate. In a statement to TAP, he stressed that the operation is proceeding at a moderate pace and called on voters to update their details or change polling station and constituency, if necessary, before the deadline. According to the same source, 56 polling stations have been set up in municipal offices, post offices and public areas to facilitate this operation, in addition to the mobilisation of 41 mobile teams visiting the various delegations.
