Mahdia, Tunisia – The Independent Local Electoral Authority (IRIE) in Mahdia has reported a total of 313 candidacies filed for the upcoming local elections. This tally includes a notable number of submissions from youths and people with disabilities.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the governorate of Mahdia is set to manage the elections across 104 constituencies, with 205 polling stations prepared for voters. The inclusion of candidacies from diverse groups like youths and individuals with disabilities indicates a broad representation in the electoral process.
