The stock market started the week on the wrong foot. The benchmark index fell by 0.3% to 8415.7 points on a modest volume of 1.5 MD, on Monday, according to broker Tunis Valeurs. The gold medal went to SANIMED. The share of the sanitary ware manufacturer, backed by the ABDENNADHER group, rose by 4.4% without attracting any flows. SOTRAPIL shares were among the session's biggest gainers. Shares in the oil and gas pipeline company rose 1.8% to TND 14.540 on thin volume of TND 3,000. ASSAD was the session's worst performer. Shares in the car battery manufacturer fell 4.9% to TND 0.770. The stock traded for only TND 9,000 during the session. GIF shares also performed poorly during the session. Shares in the car filter manufacturer fell 3.6% to TND 0.270 without being traded. SOPAT was the most active stock of the session. The share of the poultry company that owns the MLIHA brand closely unchanged at TND 2.050, feeding the market with capital of TND 168,000, i.e. 11% of the stock market flow.
