TAP Inks Partnership with National Institution to Boost Carthage Theatre Days Media Coverage.

Tunis: The Tunis-Afrique-Presse (TAP) news agency and the National Institution for the Promotion of Festivals and Cultural and Artistic Events have entered into a partnership agreement aimed at enhancing the media coverage of the 25th edition of the Carthage Theatre Days, scheduled from November 23 to 30. This collaboration was formalized during a signing session that also explored further cooperation between TAP and other cultural institutions under the Ministry of Culture.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, Najeh Missaoui, CEO of TAP, emphasized the agency’s commitment to promoting Tunisian creators in various artistic fields, aligning with national cultural policies. He outlined TAP’s role in covering a wide range of cultural activities, including theatre, cinema, literature, and plastic arts, thus supporting Tunisia’s cultural sector and creators on an international level. Missaoui highlighted the importance of such events in strengthening Tunisia’s cultural identity and fostering international co
mmunication and cultural exchange.

Hend Mokrani, Director General of the National Institution, commended TAP’s significant contribution to cultural activities through its comprehensive media coverage. She underscored the necessity of media and cultural institution collaboration to support culture and intellectuals in Tunisia.

Mohamed Mounir Argui, Director of the 25th edition of the Carthage Theatre Days, expressed satisfaction with the agreement, anticipating that it will augment the festival’s media presence. He noted the festival’s goal to project a positive image of Tunisian theatre and recognized TAP’s crucial role in reaching a broader audience. Argui revealed that this year’s edition will showcase 125 theatre productions from 32 countries, serving as a vital platform for artistic and cultural exchange in the Arab world.
