Tunindex ends week in red, down by 0.5%

Faltering prevails on the Tunis stock exchange. The benchmark index fell by 0.5% in the week from October 16 to 20, to 8446.46 points, taking its performance since the start of the year to +4.2%. Trading volumes were modest over the week, at TND 14.5 million, or a daily average of TND 2.9 million. There were no block trades during the week. Stock analysis Electrostar shares topped the charts. The company's share posted the best performance of the week, rising by 15.4% to TND 0.300, in virtually zero flow. SITS was one of the week's biggest winners. The property developer's share price rose by 11.1% to TND 1.700, attracting a volume of TND 26,000 over the week as a whole. CELLCOM was the market's red lantern. The share price fell by 12.4% to TND 1.910, in almost no trading volume. LILAS was the most traded share of the week, attracting TND 7.7 million, or 53.1% of trading volume.
