Continuing its downward trend, the benchmark index of the Tunisian Stock Exchange (Tunindex) started the trading week with a 0.5% decline, closing at 8,774.99 points on a trading volume of 5.8 million Tunisian dinars (TND), according to the analysis of stockbroker "Tunisie Valeurs". The Tuninvest share was the top performer. The SICAR share rose by 4.4% to close at TND 7.080 on almost negligible trading volumes. Tunisie Leasing and Factoring's shares, with a trading volume of TND 18,000, gained 1.9% to reach TND 12,200. Since the beginning of the year, the leasing company's shares have risen by 38.8%. ESSOUKNA continued its downward trend, losing 4.5% and closing at TND 1.490. The stock attracted meagre capital, amounting to TND 1,000 during the trading session. The property developer's stock has fallen 23.9% since the beginning of the year. BNA shares fell by 3.3% to close at TND 7.290. The stock generated a trading flow of TND 80,000 during the session. Notably, the state-owned bank's stock has fallen 17.1% since the beginning of the year. BT was the most actively traded stock. Shares of this private bank fell by 0.76% to close at TND 5.200, mobilising capital of TND 1.46 million.
