Gaza war: Tunisia urges International Community to assume its legal and moral responsibility

Tunisia has called on the international community to fully assume its legal and moral responsibly, quickly intervene to put an end the genocide in the Gaza Strip and bring the occupation forces to justice for violating human rights and international law.

On the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), Tunisia strongly denounces the barbaric crimes perpetrated in the Gaza Strip . It reaffirms its unconditional support to the right of Palestinians to recover all their legitimate rights, including their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent and sovereign state with Al Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

In its statement, published Friday, by Foreign Affairs Ministry, Tunisia considers that the commemoration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights coincides with the commemoration of the Nakba. Since that time, the Zionist entity has increased escalations before the eyes of the entire world and with total impunity.

Tunisia is celebrating the 75th anniv
ersary of the UDHR, which it considers as a global pact for the protection of human dignity, the same source said.
