Handball President’s Cup: Tunisia defeat Algeria 30-25, will face Chile for 25th place

Tunisia’s national handball team defeated their Algerian counterpart 30-25, at a President’s Cup Group II last-day game to determine places from 25th to 36th in the World Championship played Monday.

The national team, who secured wins over Morocco and North Macedonia in the first two days, are leading group II ranking with 6 points and will face on Wednesday group I leader Chile, to keep the honorary title (President’s Cup) and finish 25th.

The World Championship are co-hosted by Poland and Sweden from January 11 to 29.
