Pentecost Preparatory School Celebrates Graduation of 56 Pupils

KASSEH: The Pentecost Preparatory School in the Ada East district recently held its graduation ceremony for the 2023/2024 academic year, celebrating the achievements of 37 junior high school pupils and 19 kindergarten pupils. The event featured a variety of performances, including poetry recitals, choreography, and cadet displays, which were well-received by parents, teachers, and dignitaries in attendance. According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Henry Naab, the headmaster of the school, highlighted the institution's commitment to quality education, noting that the school currently enrolls 344 pupils, comprising 174 boys and 170 girls. He emphasized the positive impact the dedicated teachers have had on the students, leading to a marked improvement in examination results. Mr. Naab pointed out that many students achieved top grades in various subjects, and the school has established an award scheme to encourage competition and motivation among learners. Mr. Naab also appealed for support from the Pentecost Socia l Services Secretariat, the Parent-Teacher Association, and the public to assist the school in enhancing its teaching and learning environment, as well as to provide necessary infrastructure. Outgoing girls' prefect Ms. Priscila Otuteye shared her personal growth experience at the school, aspiring for further academic success. Another graduate, Ms. Bernice Frempong, expressed her gratitude to the teachers for their educational contributions and encouraged other pupils to pursue their academic goals at the school. Parents in attendance expressed their appreciation for the teachers' and school administration's efforts and praised their children for their performances during the ceremony.
