The use of plastic bags will be completely banned in all Tunisian bakeries from the beginning of the month of Ramadan (March 23, 2023), under partnership agreements signed Friday between the Ministry of the Environment, the Union of Bakeries under the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) and the Professional Association of Modern Bakeries under the Confederation of Tunisia’s Citizen Enterprises (CONECT).
