According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the Prime Minister, who is in Kenya for the Africa-France Summit, conveyed President Kaïs Saïed's greetings and lauded the diaspora's efforts in enhancing Tunisia's global reputation. She elaborated on various measures implemented to support Tunisians living abroad, in anticipation of their return during the summer of 2026. These measures include enhancing customs services and digitizing consular fee payments. Additional initiatives outlined by Zenzri involve new financial mechanisms under favorable conditions, such as foreign currency current accounts, convertible dinar savings accounts, and international payment cards. The National Postal Office will also provide preferential exchange-rate services to facilitate these financial transactions. The Prime Minister urged Tunisian professionals abroad to invest back home and participate in national projects, underscoring the government's commitment to leveraging their expertise for the nation's growth and employment opportunities. Members of the Tunisian community in Kenya expressed their dedication to Tunisia, their eagerness to continue promoting the country globally, and their support for initiatives aimed at fostering its economic and social progress, as stated in the official communication.
