Research and innovation in artificial intelligence field discussed

Research and innovation in the artificial intelligence field took centre stage in a meeting held Tuesday at the Kasbah between Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhane and member of the French Academy of Sciences and professor at the Centre for Applied Mathematics at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris Eric Moulines. The meeting focused on research and innovation opportunities in priority fields in Tunisia, notably, renewable energy management and water management to combat the drought that threatens food security, according to a department press release. The meeting was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Moncef Boukthir and Advisor to the Prime Minister in charge of Human Capital Development Samia Charfi.
