Ten-day total lockdown in Jendouba Governorate

The Regional Committee for the fight against natural disasters in Jendouba, which met on Sunday, decided to institute a ten-day total lockdown from Monday, July 6, in the entire governorate.

Since July 1, five delegations were already under lockdown, namely Boussalem, Balta Bouaoun, Jendouba, Jendouba North and Oued Mliz.

The four delegations in which a total lockdown was decreed this Sunday are the following: Tabarka, Ain Drahem, Fernana and Ghardimaou.

The decision to declare a general lockdown in the governorate of Jendouba comes after a presentation by the Regional Director of Health. The latter revealed that the incidence rate has exceeded 475 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants in recent days. This rate reaches 890 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants in Oued Mliz.
