A UNICEF delegation on Thursday visited two kindergartens, one in Saidane (north Kebili) and the other in Bechri (Souk Lahad), as part of cooperation with the local authority for women, families, childhood and the elderly in Kebili.
UNICEF provided both kindergartens with equipment worth TND 60 thousand, said officer in charge of the local authority for women, families, childhood and the elderly in Kebili Sami Bakri.
The UNICEF delegation reviewed during this visit, ways to collaborate and support the region’s childhood services, notably creating a prep class in the Saidane primary school or in one of the local kindergartens, in a bid to step up the children’s pre-school learning, the official underlined.
